WARRANTY POLICY

This Warranty Policy (“Policy") applies to the goods (“Goods”) you purchase on the website located at, and all associated sites link to http://www.apeinstyle.com/ (collectively, the “Website"). The Website is the property of C98 Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (“Company”, we", "our", and "us"). By placing an order or making a purchase on the Website, you agree to the terms set forth below along with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Coverage and Application of Warranty
1.1. The Company and/or its authorized warranty centers are only responsible for providing warranty for Goods that fully meet the following conditions:
- Goods are genuine supplied by the Company and/or distributed through the Company's retail stores or authorized agents of the Company;
- The Policy only applies to Goods that are defective due to the Company and the manufacturer and only covers the hardware components of the Goods as originally supplied and does not cover any software, consumable items, or accessories even if packaged or sold together with the Goods unless stated otherwise. For clarification, some Goods shall be warranted pursuant to the policies of manufacturers.
- You must present a valid order confirmation (paid) corresponding to the Goods for which warranty is requested; and
- Goods for which warranty is requested must be within the warranty period as prescribed in Clause 2 of this Policy and do not fall into the cases specified in Clause 1.2 herein.
1.2. Notwithstanding that the Goods are within the warranty period, this warranty shall be invalidated and rendered void upon the following:
- The Goods serial number or warranty seal has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, tampered or is illegible.
- The Goods shows evidence of impact, shock; accident; fire, flood, earthquake, lightning or other acts of nature; sand, liquid or food damage; exposure to extreme thermal or environmental conditions beyond product specifications or a rapid change in such conditions; electrostatic discharge; battery or chemical corrosion; abuse, mishandling, improper installation, operation or maintenance, use of wrong electrical supply or voltage; damage caused by installation of any software, programs or applications, or use of any accessories, consumable items or peripheral equipment not provided or approved by us for use with the Goods; improper alteration, modification, adjustment, tampering; replacement of parts with parts not provided or approved by us; or dismantling, opening, service or repair performed other than by our authorized service center; or any other use contrary to the product manual.
- The Goods missing accessories or external parts of the Goods, unless such claim is made within 3 days from the date of receive the order;
- The Goods have damage to outer surface/finishing and external parts of the Goods, including without limitation cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior casing, screen, buttons and other attachments;
- Deterioration of the Goods due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains;
- General maintenance, password reset assistance, routine servicing and cleaning, updating/upgrading of software, installation of software or applications, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair; and
- Any other circumstance such that repair would be contradictory or not in compliance with good business practice.
2. Warranty Period
The period during which the warranty under this Policy is in effect will depend upon the Goods to which it relates. In all cases the commencement date for the period is the actual day of purchase or date of delivery order whichever is later, as reflected on the order confirmation, receipt or delivery order provided to you. If this is not available, the Company will deem warranty period to start 90 days thereafter from the manufacturing date of the related Goods.
3. Warranty Claim
If you consider that the Goods which you have purchased are not of acceptable quality, has a latent defect, or is otherwise not compliant with the order you placed, please contact us via email gm@apeinstyle.com.
If the Goods can be repaired and the failure to comply with this Policy is not a major failure or a failure of substantial character, the Company or its agent may (i) repair the Goods or (ii) replace the Goods with the same or a similar goods, at Company's absolute discretion.
If the Goods cannot be repaired or the failure to comply with these Terms is a major failure or a failure of substantial character, the Company may replace the Goods with the same or a similar product at its absolute discretion.
